What is Backtesting?

TradeZella's Backtesting feature is a robust tool for traders to simulate and analyze their strategies using historical market data.

Users can set parameters like starting balance, trading pairs, and date ranges to recreate specific scenarios. The platform allows the execution of orders, application of stop losses, and setting profit targets for a detailed analysis of past performance. With intuitive controls, including play, pause, and speed adjustments, traders can navigate through backtesting sessions at their preferred pace.

The "Go to" feature facilitates precise jumps to specific trading sessions. Results are visually represented on the chart, displaying entry/exit points, profit targets, and stop losses. Integration with TradeZella's journal feature enhances analytical capabilities, allowing traders to log, tag, and review backtesting sessions alongside live trades.
