As of this weekend, due to the transition of TD accounts to Charles Schwab, the 'thinkorswim' sync status will now display as FAILED for all accounts. The TD Ameritrade API is no longer active or available, resulting in the sync status showing as failed.

If you notice your thinkorswim sync status appearing as "Failed" in TradeZella, it could be due to your account transitioning to Charles Schwab.

Follow these steps to get back on track:

To re-establish your tradezella sync with your new Charles Schwab account as an existing TD client: refer to the steps below

  • Now on the sync tab, select ''Charles Schwab'' from the broker dropdown.

*Please make sure you select Charles Schwab, and NOT thinkorswim as the TD Ameritrade integration is no longer active.

  • Make sure you're re-linking to your existing tradezella account instead of creating a new account. Your existing tradezella account should automatically show up in the dropdown.

  • Click ''Connect'' and input your new Charles Schwab login details.

Please ensure to input your NEW charles schwab login details, and NOT your previous TD Ameritrade login. After your account transitioned over to Charles Schwab, you should have a seperate login ID for schwab specifically.
