Exporting trade data from ThinkorSwim into a file
Launch your ThinkorSwim desktop application.
Click on the "Monitor" tab located in the upper panel.
Select "Account Statement" from the dropdown menu.
Choose the date range for the trades you wish to export.
Select "Transactions" next to the Cash and Sweep Vehicle row.
Click on "Reset".
Select the "Trade History" row and click the gear icon to the right.
Choose "Customize" and then click "Load Defaults" to ensure all required fields are included for export.
Click on the Actions menu located in the upper right header panel.
Choose "Export to File".
Save your file as a CSV (comma-separated value file).
Uploading the exported file into TradeZella
Go to the TradeZella File Upload page.
Select the account where you want to upload this file. Choose "Thinkorswim" from the broker list. Upload the saved CSV file containing your trades.
TradeZella will handle the rest, ensuring your trades from ThinkorSwim are imported accurately.
