TradeZella lets you backtest multiple symbols in a single session and view up to 8 charts at once in your backtesting window.
How Do I Add Multiple Symbols for Manual Backtesting?
When creating a new backtesting session, add the symbols you want to backtest.
💡 Note: You can add up to 5 symbols in a manual backtesting session. Once you create a session, you can no longer add or remove symbols.
How Do I Switch Between Symbols?
Inside your session, you can switch between the symbols you selected when creating it — no need to start a new session. There are two ways to do it:
Click the symbol name in the upper-left corner to open the Symbol Search popup, then type or select the symbol you want to view.
Or, while on the chart, start typing the symbol name to pull up the Symbol Search box.
How Do I Add Multiple Charts?
Click the layout icon in the upper-right corner (next to Autosaved) to open the layout selector.
Choose a layout. Layouts are grouped by the number of charts — from 1 up to 8, each with different grid arrangements.
Currently, you can add and view up to 8 simple charts simultaneously.
💡 Note: You don't need a TradingView subscription to use multi-charts in backtesting — it's free on TradeZella across all plans!
How Do I Sync Layouts Across Charts?
To sync layouts across multiple charts, see Sync in Layout Across Multiple Charts in Backtesting for step-by-step guidance.
