Rate Upload - Single Line

With the update we improve the function scope of the Rate Single line upload which will now also support:

  • Price Type to decide if Flat or Unit Rate

  • Support all other Rate Classes like Weight, loading meter, volume, distance etc.

    • Will support floats at the min-max determination of the line. Before we only supported unit rates and integer values.

  • Support multiple carriers in the carrier input field, by comma separation

Credit Stop - Consider Billing Partner

We have enhanced the Credit Stop functionality for partners to improve financial risk awareness during order creation.

A Credit Stop can be configured in the Partner Master Data to tag partners with financial restrictions, for example due to outstanding payments.

What’s new

  • When a partner is marked with Credit Stop, the system performs a check during order creation and saving.

  • The billing partner is now also included in the Credit Stop check and will be verified while saving an Sales Order

  • By default, a Credit Stop is shown as an informational warning within the order and moving on is not allowed.

Behavior during order processing

Partner on Sales Order level

  • Orders can still be activated even if a partner is on Credit Stop, when users with the appropriate permission.

  • Users without this permission will see the Credit Stop information but cannot override restricted actions if enforcement is enabled in the future.

Partner on Billing Partner section

  • Orders can still be saved even if a partner is on Credit Stop, when users with the appropriate permission.

  • Users without this permission will see the Credit Stop information but cannot save the order.

This enhancement increases transparency and ensures that financial risks are visible at the right time, while still allowing controlled flexibility in exceptional cases.

Improved Automation for Recommended POL / POD in Ocean Bookings

We have further improved the Ocean Booking creation process to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency when working with recommended ports of loading (POL) and ports of discharge (POD).

What’s new

When creating an Ocean Booking from a Transport Order (TO), the system now automatically pre-fills the POL and/or POD based on the Recommended POL / POD provided in the linked Material Order(s) (MO).

This helps shippers reuse partner-provided recommendations without re-entering the same information manually.

How it works

  • During Ocean Booking creation, the system checks the linked Material Order(s):

    • Single MO

      • The recommended POL and/or POD are automatically pre-filled.

    • Multiple MOs with the same POL and/or POD

      • Matching values are pre-filled accordingly.

    • Multiple MOs with different POL and POD

      • POL and POD remain empty and must be selected manually.

  • Applies to manual Ocean Booking creation from the Control Tower

Detailed behavior

  • If POL is the same across all linked MOs but POD differs → POL is pre-filled, POD remains empty.

  • If POD is the same across all linked MOs but POL differs → POD is pre-filled, POL remains empty.

  • If both POL and POD differ across linked MOs → both fields remain empty.

  • Users can always overwrite pre-filled POL and POD values before saving the Ocean Booking or Transport Order

Route-Based Filtering for Transport Order Form & Sales Order Form Settings

We’ve enhanced Transport Order/Sales Order Form Settings to support origin- and destination-based filtering.

You can now define default values (such as locations, regions..) that automatically apply based on the route geography of a Transport Order/Sales Order. This enables reliable automation for customers operating across multiple regions — even when working with the same suppliers or carriers.

Key benefits

  • Correct defaults applied based on origin and destination regions

  • Supports fully automated Transport Order creation/Sales Order creation

  • Reduces manual corrections for multi-region operations

Default Requestor Contact Based on Customer

We’ve improved the creation of Sales Orders (SO) and Material Orders (MO) by introducing default Requestor contact details based on the selected Customer.

What’s new

  • You can now maintain Requestor contact details directly in Partner Master Data.

  • When a customer is selected in a Sales Order or Material Order, the Requestor fields are automatically pre-filled.

  • Requestor details for Sales Orders and Material Orders are handled separately, allowing flexibility when multiple MOs are linked to one SO.

  • Pre-filled Requestor information can always be overwritten if needed.

Benefits

  • Faster order creation for frequently booking customers

  • Less manual copy & paste

  • Reduced risk of data entry errors

Service-Level–Based Email Contact Settings

We’ve enhanced Email Contact Settings to give you more control over who receives which emails.

What’s new

  • Service Level can now be used as a filter in Email Contact Settings

  • Supports multi-select, allowing one contact setup to cover multiple service levels (e.g. LCL vs FCL)

  • Empty by default, so existing behavior remains unchanged

  • Improved layout for better readability:

    • Removed visual clutter

    • Added a clear “Contact” section header

Benefits

  • Ensures the right people receive the right emails

  • Enables separate email recipients for LCL and FCL shipments

  • Reduces manual forwarding and misrouted communication

Multi-Currency Support for Extra Charges

We have updated the system to allow for dynamic currency selection when logging costs. This eliminates the need to create multiple charge types for different currencies.

Key Updates

  • Currency Flexibility: Users can now change the currency on demand when adding costs to a Transport Order (TO) or Sales Order (SO).

  • Default Logic: The system will default to the currency configured in your settings, but you can manually override it (e.g., changing USD to EUR).

  • Applicable Categories: This applies to Flat Rate charges under Extra, Insurance, and Spot (TMS) categories.

Important Note

  • Total Price Calculation: If a conversion rate is not maintained in the system for a selected currency, that cost will not be included in the "Total Price" summary.

Improved Transport Order Splitting

We have optimized the Transport Order (TO) Split logic to better preserve scheduling data and streamline stop management. This update ensures that when a transport is divided, the timing and stop sequences remain accurate without manual data re-entry.

What’s New?

When splitting a TO based on a specific stop (e.g., Scheduled Routing or Airport of Origin), the system now intelligently handles the transition between the two new orders:

  • Timestamp Retention: Scheduled dates and times from the original milestones are automatically carried over to the new TOs. You no longer need to worry about losing initial planning data during a split.

  • Automatic Stop Cleanup: The system now automatically removes unnecessary "Collect" or "Deliver" activities that do not belong in the newly created legs.

  • Sequential Logic: The "split point" stop is used as the anchor, appearing as the destination for the first leg and the origin for the second leg, maintaining a seamless chain of custody.

Billing Date Enhancements

We have upgraded the handling of Billing Dates to ensure higher financial accuracy and better visibility across different timezones. These changes ensure that rate calculations remain precise and that users have full context of the timezones being used.

🌍 Timezone-Aware Interface

We have introduced a smarter billing date field in both the Transport Order and Sales Order forms:

  • No More Confusion: The input field now displays the original billing date/time without automatic conversion to your local computer's timezone.

  • Timezone Tooltips: Similar to our milestone markers, if the billing date’s timezone differs from your own, a tooltip will appear. Hover over it to see the date in both the original timezone and your local time.

  • Source Tracking: The system now tracks and displays where the billing date came from (e.g., triggered by a Milestone, set by a User, or Calculated by the system).

New filter for Routing Settings

Improvements

  • Improved performance for filtering for data within Transport Order Grid

  • Reasons: Partner + Supplier can be edit after creation

  • Partner Portal Setting for Sales Order: Minimize selection of parts linked to Partners to be selected

  • Partner Order Numbers column added to Transport Order Grid

  • Carrier confirmation email now includes a dedicated "Assets" section for each material line, displaying both the Asset Code and Name to provide full visibility into handling units.
