Setting up the UN numbers

The UN numbers can be added or edited in the UN Number Settings (Admin > Settings > UN Number Settings). There, you can add all the relevant details for hazardous parts. These will then be automatically displayed for example on the PDFs in carrier-facing emails or on the order forms.

If shipping internationally, it is important to remember that translations may be required. In the section 'Translated fields' you can add different translations in various languages.

Simply by clicking 'Add' and selecting a language you can type in the translations of the hazardous goods and the specific chemicals that make the cargo potentially dangerous.

Once added, the UN setting values are visible for the relevant parts on the order form under 'Parts & Packaging' section.

It is important to remember that in order to be able to view this information in an order you must have the right role with the right settings.

This can be adjusted in Control Tower Roles (Admin > Rights Management > Control Tower Roles) in section Parts & Packaging.

E-mails

The UN number details are also displayed in the carrier-facing e-mails. These details can be found in the attached PDF file.

These properties will only be visible if the right e-mail settings are allowed.

To adjust it you must go to the E-mail settings (Admin > Settings > E-mail settings).

(you can read more about E-mail settings here)

In the section 'E-mail templates' under the relevant e-mail type (Pre-advise, Confirmation, etc.) you have to select 'Show load details' and 'Show parts'. Now the parts and their properties will be displayed on the PDF.
