Before you can book slots, you need to create and apply a template. In the template you will define the following settings:
Opening days
Opening hours
Slot duration
Lunch breaks
Max capacity
Why templates?
The default opening days, opening hours and slot duration can be defined in the settings of a facility or a section. These settings are just an overall indication of your facility setup. Because companies often work with different setups for their high, normal and low seasons, we provided a feature called templates.
You can find an overview of all your templates here:
How to set up your template?
When you create a template, the setup of the facility and section settings are loaded after which you can adjust them.
A template is always for an entire week. Select the day to edit its setup.

Max capacity
With this feature, you can define the max amount of slots that can be booked at the same time or the max amount of slots that can be booked in a section during one day.
You can show/hide the max capacity input fields through the eye-icon, right above the slots.
Enter the max number of slots that can be booked at the same time. All other slots will become unavailable (that lie within the range of this number), once this number is reached.
Who can create or edit a template?
All admin users can view, create or edit the templates of their locations and facilities. Planners, operators and carriers don't have these permissions.
In this article, you will learn more about the roles and permissions we offer.
Apply a template on your schedule view
Once the setup of your template is ready, you apply it to your calendar. Slots can not be booked on days without a template.
You can apply a new template as long as there are no bookings made during the selected time range.
Nice job!
