Who likes to do all the work on their own? Besides Flo, nobody, right? But even Flo gets a little tired of doing all the work herself. That’s why she’s made it possible for you to
invite your colleagues to divide the work amongst yourselves. Based on the role that is assigned, everybody who is invited to the TMS and Time Slot Booking, can:
Manage the available slots
Book, edit and reschedule slots
Update milestones

How to invite a user
Make sure the user account is set up in both your Slot Booking application and the TMS. To be able to do this, you need to have admin rights in both systems.
From within the TMS
Create a new user account for your new customer/user. The following fields are required:
Email
Group
TMS access (without this, the user cannot log in)
Full Name
Rights management
(make sure you provide the user access to view orders and data)
Save the user information so they can confirm the invitation and set up a password and login
After saving, open the user field again, click on the edit button and you’ll see a new section called 'Slot Booking'
Select the internal user type and select the appropriate role, then click ‘Save’.

Some of these roles need to be linked to a specific location/facility. Please select the location and/or facility you want to give the user access to and click 'Save'.
Well done! The user profile has been created. Flo will get out her calligraphy pen and write them a confirmation email in her best handwriting
Note: Before the user can click on 'Visit portal', make sure they’ve completed their registration in the first mail they received.
If the user clicks the 'Visit portal' button they will be redirected to the login page of Slot Booking where they can use the same credentials as they do in the TMS. If the user was already logged in, they won't have to log in again.
From within Time Slot Booking
If you follow this flow, the user will only have access to the Time Slot Booking application and not to the TMS.
Open Time Slot Booking
https://slotbooking.operations.transporeon.com/Go to your settings (via the cog icon at the bottom in your navigation bar)
Click on 'Users'
Click on the '+ New User' button at the right top of the page
In the popup that appears, select the role you want to assign to the user

You have two options to add users
Via a link
By email
Via a link
A user who was invited via link is redirected to a page where they can either use their existing credentials (if they already have an account in one of the TOPS applications) or they can follow the registration flow.
2. By email
If the user is invited via email, they will receive the following email, which invites them to finish registering.
After clicking the button, the user is redirected to the Account Creation page where Flo has already filled in the provided email address. Her personal touch is very touching and personable, wouldn’t you agree?
If the user is invited by email and already has a user account for one of our applications, Flo will send them this email:
After When clicking on the button, the user is asked to confirm the invite. Once again, Flo has filled in the email address so the user feels very welcome. Please enter the password and accept the invite.
Flo gets a little thrill whenever a new invitation is accepted, when a new user profile is created and when they can log in to the TMS and Time Slot Booking. It gives her motivation to do her little robot job as best as she can. It’s not like she wants to earn the Digital Wizard of the Month Award, she’s just happy whenever she can build a TMS community.
