As you may already know, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) went into effect on May 25, 2018.

This new law impacts all businesses —including Travel professionals and Software Providers — that are either based in or service customers in the European Union. Overall the law sets out new standards regarding data privacy and security. As a part of our commitment to you and your business, Travefy takes GDPR Compliance incredibly seriously.

Accordingly, to ensure Travefy's GDPR Compliance we have made some changes to our Privacy Policy (here) as well as several of our processes and wanted to let you know about them. We've updated our Privacy Policy with GDPR-ready terms that include Data Processing and Security Terms, we've appointed a Data Processing Officer (DPO)  to oversee compliance, updated our privacy / removal processes, as well as provided access to our governing Security Protocols.

This article is to let you know that Travefy is meeting its obligations under GDPR in relation to data subjects in the EY and there are no steps you need to take.

If you have any questions on Travefy's GDPR Compliance or data security/privacy practices, please contact Professional@Travefy.com.
