Travefy provides a few options for you to chat with your clients through the trip builder, an itinerary's web link, the Travefy Pro app, and the Trip Plans app.
A common question that arises after learning about this feature is, how will I be notified if a client messages me?
An email will be sent to you letting you know of the message. Here's an example:

If the Travefy Pro app is closed, you'll receive push notifications if you've enabled them on your phone in your phone's settings.
