The Flight Log lets you edit any flight, updating the class, price, fare family, points, or Tier Points by clicking the pencil icon on the flight row.
If a field isn't saving properly or the editor is behaving unexpectedly, work through the steps below before contacting support.
Quick fixes to try first:
Clear your browser cache and hard reload - after a recent TravelSmarter update, cached files can conflict with new form behaviour.
Chrome/Edge: Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows)
Safari: Option+Cmd+E to empty the cache, then Cmd+R to reload
Firefox: Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) or Ctrl+F5 (Windows)
Try a different browser -If a field won't save in Safari, try Chrome or Firefox to confirm whether the issue is browser-specific.
Log out and back in - Forces a fresh session and clears any stale state.
Common issues:
Dropdown selections don't persist after saving -You open a flight, change the Class (or Fare Family), click Save, but the next time you open the flight the dropdown has reverted to the previous value. To resolve the issue, try the following steps:
Clear cache and hard reload (steps above).
Try the same edit in a different browser.
Make sure you're clicking Save and not navigating away before the save completes.
If it’s still not working, please contact our support team. To help us identify the issue, we’ll need a few details from you. You can find the required information in the list here.
The Pencil (Edit) icon isn't appearing - The Flight Log table loads, but the edit pencil icon on the right side of each flight row is missing. To resolve the issue, try the following steps:
Scroll the table horizontally on narrow screens the edit column can be offscreen.
Resize your browser window to widen the viewport.
Try a hard reload.
Points or Tier Points field won't accept my Value- You enter a number in the Points or Tier Points field and the form rejects it or resets to zero. To resolve the issue, try the following steps:
Enter numbers only no commas, currency symbols, or letters.
For very large numbers (above 99,999), make sure there are no spaces in the field.
Check that the value is a positive whole number.
Changes Don't Update the Dashboard or Status Page - You edited a flight successfully but the Dashboard, Status, or Analytics pages still show the old totals.
To resolve the issue, try the following steps:
Hard reload the Dashboard or Status page.
Log out and log back in.
If the totals still look wrong, see Troubleshooting Common Issues in TravelSmarter.
