The function of Non-Trading Days is to designate specific days when the business is closed and does not operate. These days are typically scheduled for events like public holidays, company holidays, or special occasions.
Go to Non-Trading Days in the configuration(the cog icon in the top right-hand corner).
Click on the Create Non-Trading Day button.
Choose the date.
Select the applicable options.
Restriction Type: Specify whether this non-trading day applies globally or to specific locations or location groups.
Is Public Holiday: Specify whether this non-trading day is a public holiday.
Show on Rota: Specify whether this non-trading day will be displayed on the rota.
Skills Not Required: Specify whether this non-trading day applies only to employees with specific skills.
Excluded from Leave Requests: Specify whether this non-trading day is excluded from leave requests.
Click Create.
