A. General Overview

Q1. What is XP?

A: XP are points that you earn for just using Tria. Tria rewards you with XP for using your Tria card, completing onboarding actions, and referring friends. Your XP helps you progress through Levels and improve your Season outcome, unlocking access to more rewards as you advance.

XP is not token or cash. It is simply an in-app points metric that reflects your activity.

Q2. What is a Season and how does it affect me?

A: A Season is a defined period during which your XP accumulates.

During a Season, you can:

  • Earn XP from all eligible actions

  • Increase your level

  • Become eligible for higher reward tiers at the end of the Season

Q3. How do Levels and Rewards work?

A: Every XP milestone increases your level. Higher Levels show how active you’ve been on Tria, and they help you finish the Season with a stronger outcome. Higher Levels also make you eligible for more rewards at the end of the Season.

Q4. What is the Multiplier and how does it work?

A: Your multiplier determines how much XP you earn per dollar spent with your Tria card.

The higher your multiplier, the faster you level up.

Your multiplier (M) is calculated as:

1x (base) + Your Card Bonus + Number of Card-Activated Referrals

You can earn multipliers based on your card-tier, and through card-activated referrals.

A higher M means you earn more XP on every transaction, every day.

spend XP = $ Amount × M.

B. Earning XP & Multiplier

Q5. How do I earn XP?

A: You can earn XP for completing multiple activities on your Tria account-

  • Creating Tria name → 100 XP

  • First Wallet Top-up → 250 XP

  • Booking your card → upto 10,000 XP

  • KYC Submission → 1,000 XP

  • First Card Top-up → 250 XP

  • Spending with your Tria card

  • Card referrals

For more details on card XP and multiplier, click Card Booking XP.

Q6. How much XP do I earn from card spending?

A: For every $1 you spend with your Tria card, it gives you XP based on your multiplier:

XP = $ Amount × M

Example:

Spend $50 with multiplier 4x → you earn 200 XP.

The higher your multiplier, the faster you grow.

For more details on spend XP, click Spend XP.

Q7. How can I earn higher multipliers?

A: You can earn multipliers on card booking and through card-activated referrals.

Here’s the bonus each card gives:

  • Virtual → +1x multiplier

  • Plastic → +2x multiplier

  • Metal → +3x multiplier

For every referral who books any card and completes KYC, you earn +1x added to your multiplier. You can only earn XP and Multiplier for your 1st card of each type.

So if you book 2 virtual cards, you will not receive XP and multiplier for the 2nd card.

If you already hold a higher-tier card and later book a lower-tier one, no XP and multiplier will be credited.

Q8. Do I get XP for wallet transactions?

A: There is no XP for wallet transactions (except first wallet top-up).

C. Referral System

Q9. What XP and multiplier do I get for a Referral?

A: You can invite your friends to join Tria using the referral feature in the app and earn more XP.

For every referral who signs up using your link, you will earn +100 XP (One time per user).

A referral becomes Card-Activated when your friend:

  1. Signs up using your link

  2. Books any card (Virtual / Plastic / Metal)

  3. Completes KYC

  4. Activates Card

When this happens, YOU earn:

  • +1,000 XP

  • +1x added to your multiplier (per referral).

Q10. Is there a limit on referral XP?

A: There is no limit on earning XP and multiplier from referral bonuses.

Q11. Why didn’t I receive a multiplier for my referral?

A: The referral must meet both criteria: card booked + KYC passed. Signup-only referrals don’t increase multiplier.

Q12. Will my previous referrals who have already activated a card count toward my multiplier?

A: Yes. Any past referrals who have already completed KYC and booked a card will automatically be counted. You’ll receive the corresponding multiplier and XP increase without needing to take any action.

D. Miscellaneous

Q13. Can XP be transferred or purchased?

A: No. XP can only be earned through eligible actions.

Q14. Can I lose XP?

A: No, unless an XP event is reversed because the underlying action (spend/referral) was invalid.

Q15. Do multipliers apply to referral XP?

A: No. Multipliers apply only to spend XP.

Q16. Is there any cap on earnings during a Season?

A: XP from spend and referrals is uncapped (reward distribution model may impose tiers later).
