There are several circumstances where a workflow will need to be dismissed. For example, the user has left your organisation and will no longer be able to access your portal to complete sign off or if a workflow was triggered in error etc.
In these cases, the outstanding workflows can be dismissed by your portal's administrator. To dismiss the workflows, from the start page, select the "History" button.
In the resulting page, select the "Workflow" tab, then select the "Filter" button to search for the user/s for which you wish to remove workflows.
Enter the name or email account of the user/s you're searching for.
Select "Pending" in the "Filter by Status" section.
Click the "Filter" button to begin your search. The results will be displayed in a list underneath.
Select the record/s by clicking the checkboxes beside the workflows you wish to dismiss, then click the "Delete" button.
Enter your user name and password and click the "Delete" button to complete the dismissal of those workflows.
The workflows will be deleted and you will be taken back to the Workflow history section.
It is possible to reinstate dismissed workflows, if they were dismissed in error. See the help topic here:
