How do I enable notifications?

Written by Siham

TRIBBU sends you notifications so you never miss anything important about your trips, ride requests, messages, or reminders. You may receive notifications through different channels:

  • Push notifications (on your mobile device)

  • Email

  • In-app notifications

  • WhatsApp

  • Messages through the TRIBBU chat

📲 How do I enable push notifications?

Push notifications are managed through your phone's operating system settings.

To make sure you receive them:

On iOS (iPhone)

  1. Open Settings > Notifications.

  2. Find TRIBBU in the list of apps.

  3. Make sure notifications are enabled and allowed on the Lock Screen, Notification Centre, and Banners.

On Android

  1. Open Settings > Apps or Notifications.

  2. Select TRIBBU.

  3. Enable Allow notifications.

🔕 Can I mute specific notifications?

Yes, but only for group chats within the app. You can mute a group if you don't want to receive notifications from that particular conversation.

It's currently not possible to mute notifications from an individual user in the chat.

📣 What types of notifications can I receive?

TRIBBU may notify you about:

  • New or updated ride requests

  • Accepted or declined requests

  • Trip reminders

  • New messages in the app chats

  • General updates and announcements from the TRIBBU team (via email or in the app)

At the moment, you can't choose which types of notifications you'd like to receive individually. If push notifications are enabled, you'll receive all notifications related to your activity in the app.
