All active member's are automatically opted in for text messaging. If a member wants to opt-out of text messaging, they can do that through their web portal for your gym. 

The member will log in to and click Settings on the left hand side of the screen and click Text Messaging and then Disable Text Messaging.

Step 1: Disable Text Messaging

Step 2: Request Verification Code by entering your phone number and click Request Verification Code. 

Step 3: A verification code will be sent via text and then you'll Enter Verification Code and click Verify Code

Once you've verified the phone number, then you are opted out of text messaging.
