How to create a multilevel widget

Refers to the organization of the product categories into groups and their display on the widget.

The multilevel widget is created through the Categories section and can be used to group a selection of activities/products together in order to present them on the widget or to restrict a user's access to specific products only (e.g. F&B team to have access only to restaurants).

Categories can be found in the More section on the left hand-side menu under Data Management.

In order to create a Multilevel widget the categories need to be created according to the following order:

1/ Product Categories

2/ Groups of Categories

3/ Multilevel Categories

Step 1: Create the Product Categories

  • Insert a Title* for the Product Category.

    Example: Spa

  • Insert a Description for the product category.

    Note: Not mandatory-The description entered will be visible on the multilevel widget.

  • In case notes are needed for the specific category, add them on the Internal Notes.

    Note: The Internal notes are for internal use only and are not displayed on the widget or to the customer. The information inserted will be displayed in the column Internal notes on the Categories table.

  • Indicate the Order in which the category will appear on the widget.

  • On the Add Products > Add or combine Products section, select from the drop-down menu the Product type from the available options (Experiences, Restaurants, Rentals, Services) and the relevant products that need to be included in the specific Product Category.

  • Photos can be uploaded in the relevant box on the Content & Media section by dropping a photo or uploading one from file.

Display on widget:


Step 2: Create the Group(s) of Categories

Create the Group(s) of Categories and add the required Product Categories created during the previous step.

  • Insert a Title* for the Group Category.

    Example: Wellness

  • Insert a Description for the group category.

    Note: Not mandatory-The description entered will be visible on the multilevel widget.

  • In case notes are needed for the specific category, add them on the Internal Notes.

    Note: The Internal notes are for internal use only and are not displayed on the widget or to the customer. The information inserted will be displayed in the column Internal notes on the Categories table.

  • Indicate the Order in which the category will appear on the widget.

  • On the Add Products Categories section, select the relevant product categories that need to be included in the specific Group Category.

    Example: Spa, Fitness

  • Photos can be uploaded in the relevant box on the Content & Media section by dropping a photo or uploading one from file.

Step 3: Create the Multilevel Category

Create the Multilevel Category and add the Group(s) of Categories or/and Product Categories created during the previous step(s).

  • Insert a Title* for the Multilevel Category.

  • Example: Experiences

  • Insert a Description for the multilevel category.

    Note: For internal use only -The description entered will not be visible on the multilevel widget.

  • In case notes are needed for the specific category, add them on the Internal Notes.

    Note: The Internal notes are for internal use only and are not displayed on the widget or to the customer. The information inserted will be displayed in the column Internal notes on the Categories table.

  • On the Add Categories section, select the relevant group categories or/and product categories that need to be included in the specific Multilevel Category.

  • Photos can be uploaded in the relevant box on the Content & Media section by dropping a photo or uploading one from file.

    Note: The photo inserted will not be visible on the widget.

Important note:

In order for a Category to appear on the widget its status needs to be set to ONLINE.


You can preview the category/widget at any point, using the Preview button.


Once the multilevel widget is created, the booking button code can be accessed through More > Guest Facing > Booking Button > Widget 2.0 as shown below:
