A Property Management System (PMS) integration enhances the booking process by importing customer data directly into the Triparound system. This integration allows for smoother management of bookings both online and in the back office.
Once a PMS integration is activated, specific customer data will be automatically imported within the Triparound system and Guest Profiles will be created. The Business will have access to customer data within the Customers section under their Guest Profile.

Back-Office booking process (through the dashboard BOOK NOW)
When the PMS integration is activated, a search function will automatically appear on the dashboard BOOK NOW button, allowing the user to search for a customer. The fields used to help match guest information from the PMS can be:
Room number: Enter the assigned room number of the guest as recorded in the PMS (and in their Triparound Guest Profile).
Reservation code: Enter the reservation code/id of the guest as recorded in the PMS (and in their Triparound Guest Profile). This should be the reservation code/id that has been communicated to the customer.
Email: Enter the email address of the guest as recorded in the PMS (and in their Triparound Guest Profile).
If the Customer is found they can be selected by clicking on the BOOK button, which will move the booking process to the next step.
Note:
The search process can be skipped using the SKIP button, if required, in which case the user proceeds straight to the product booking process.
If the customer is found and selected through the search function, then during Stage 3 β Checkout of the booking process, certain Customer Info fields will be automatically populated with the customer's information.
Online booking process (through the widget)
Enable guest validation on widget
When the PMS integration is activated, the option to validate guest information on the widget becomes available to the Business. If enabled, this functionality adds a validation step, requiring customers to fill in their details before being able to proceed to make a booking.
Through the Guest Validation Process on the widget only the Business' customers can proceed to book a product.
To enable this functionality, navigate to My Company > Settings > Booking Settings and on the Guest Validation Settings activate the Enable guest validation on widget feature (more information can be found here).
First name: Guest enters their first name as recorded in the PMS (and in their Triparound Guest Profile).
Last name: Guest enters their last name as recorded in the PMS (and in their Triparound Guest Profile).
Room number: Guest enters their assigned room number as recorded in the PMS (and in their Triparound Guest Profile).
Reservation id: Guest enters the reservation code/id as recorded in the PMS (and in their Triparound Guest Profile). This should be the reservation code/id that has been communicated to the customer.
If the customer passes the validation process, then during Stage 3 β Checkout of the booking process, certain Customer Info fields will be automatically populated with the customer's information.
Enable visitor bookings
Additionally, when the PMS integration is activated, the option to allow visitors (i.e, non-guests) to book products directly through the widget becomes available to the Business. If enabled, this functionality allows visitors to skip the guest validation step on the widget and proceed to make a booking.
This feature can be activated to allow visitors not staying in the accommodation premises of the Business to make bookings.
To allow visitor bookings, navigate to My Company > Settings > Booking Settings and on the Guest Validation Settings activate the Enable visitor bookings feature (more information can be found here).
