Setting up closed days for business rest or specific holiday periods, like Christmas, is essential for managing operations. To prevent checks from being scheduled during these times, you’ll need to configure closed days in Logit.

How to set up closed days for business rest

  1. Go to the configure portal and navigate to Locations.

  2. Click on the required site.

  3. Open Trading Dates.

  4. You can either select Temporarily Closed in the Open box which will put the site in the temporarily closed status.

  5. If the closed period is no longer than 7 days, then select Other - Specify Days and deselect the days.

  6. Save the change.

💡If you have multiple sites with different closed days, you can set them individually.

How to set up closed days during a holiday period

If all sites are going to be closed over a specific period, such as Christmas:

  1. Go to the configure portal and click on configuration (the cog icon on the top right-hand corner).

  2. Open Organisation Settings and scroll down to Organisation Closed Days.

  3. Enter the dates in DD/MM/YY format and use a comma (",") to separate the dates.

  4. Click Update, and the closed days will be applied to all locations.

⚠️Attention Required:

You MUST set up closed days at least 2 days in advance, as it takes 48 hours for the updates to be processed in the system.

For example, if Gorols Restaurant is closing from 27/12/2024 to 31/12/2024, the manager should set up the closed days by 25/12/2024. Similarly, to ensure checks are scheduled correctly, the manager should mark the days to reopen 2 days in advance, which in this case would be 29/12/2024.
