How to enable comments and photo upload

Allow comments and media to checks, audits, records, requests, and logbooks

Comment boxes are useful because they let the team provide additional information, such as issue details, ensuring issues are better understood and resolved more efficiently. So is the media attachment.

To enable comments and media attachment, here are the steps:

  1. Open Form Library in the configure portal.

  2. Click Edit on the relevant form and go to Media Settings.

  3. Use the drop-down box and choose the appropriate options.

  4. Click Save Setting.

Creates a link at the bottom of the form with the option to add comments and media which relate to the entire form.

Section

Creates a link at the bottom of each section with the option to add comments and media which relate to the questions within 1 given section.

Question - All

Creates a link on each question with the option to add comments and media which relate only to that question.

Question - Specified

Creates a link on selected question with the option to add comments and media which relate only to that question.

Available if needed.

On Validation Error

Promoted to complete an incorrect answer before Submit displays.

Needs to be added before Submit displays.

  • Media - Restrict to camera images only on mobile devices: This ensures users can only take and upload real-time photos, preventing them from selecting existing images from their gallery.
