Why do I need to create a contractor form
Contractor forms can be used to modify contractor properties, such as the next inspection date for a contractor.
Before creating a contractor form
Before we start, make sure you have added your contractors to Logit. Here's a quick guide to show you how:
Also, make sure you have added properties to your contractors, such as the next inspection date, so they appear on your calendar.
To do this, go to Contractors in the configure portal under the Structure & Assets section, then click the Manage button in the top right-hand corner.
How do I create a contractor form
Head over to the Form Library under the Forms & Workflows section in the configure portal.
Hit the Add Form button in the top right-hand corner.
Complete mandatory fields, including Name, Owner, and Department.
Set form type to Contractor.
Choose your desired Completion Timestamps and Topics.
Click Create.
Now head over to the Questions tab to add questions.
From here you will be able to add questions or link your contractor properties. This will depend on what you are using your form for. Here's a guide to help you add questions to your form:
Go to the Question tab.
Click Add Section and select Contractor Properties.
Click Link Property and pull through the predefined questions.
You can add a general section that allows additional questions to be included.
Once created, you can turn the contractor form into a contractor record, allowing team members to update relevant properties and complete tasks.
What will a contractor record look like
Go to the Contractor module in the monitor portal.
Click the cog icon on the specific contractor and select Add Record.
Select the relevant record and complete it.
