Why are clients able to book an appointment during a Google Calendar event?

Google Calendar syncing is available on Pro plans.

If your Google Calendar event is marked as Free, clients will still be able to book appointments during that time.


How to prevent this

To block that time on your Trova calendar, make sure your Google Calendar event is marked as Busy.

To update this in Google Calendar:

  • Open your event in Google Calendar

  • Click Edit

  • Change the setting from Free to Busy

  • Click Save


What happens when an event is set to Busy

  • The time will be blocked on your Trova calendar

  • Clients will not be able to book appointments during that period


This ensures your availability is accurately reflected and helps prevent scheduling conflicts.
