If your camera is not working, check that the camera icon on the video call is not red or clicked off. Click on the camera icon to enable the camera.
If the above is not the issue, take the following steps:
Clients on Android Phones:
Visit the gear icon to open Settings.
Tap Security and privacy.
Tap Privacy.
Toggle Camera access under Controls and alerts to enable/disable them.
For specific app permissions, tap Permission manager.
Clients on iPhones:
Open the Settings app.
Scroll down and tap Privacy.
Tap on Camera.
Toggle the permissions switch next to the app’s name to enable/disable.
On Google Chrome Browser (Computer):
Open Google Chrome.
Click the three-dot icon and select Settings.
Scroll down and click Privacy and security.
Click Site settings.
Under Permissions, click on Camera.
Ensure “Ask before accessing” is turned on.
If a site is blocked, change the permission to Allow.
On Safari Browser (Computer):
Open Safari Preferences (Command + ,).
Select the Websites tab.
Click on Camera on the left sidebar.
Manage access (Ask/Deny/Allow) for each site.
To allow access for specific sites, select Allow from the dropdown menu.
Under “When visiting other websites:”, set the default behavior (Ask/Deny/Allow).
