I’m having trouble signing in—how do I clear cookies or use Incognito/Private mode?

Login problems

If sign-in gets stuck or loops, cached data or cookies are often the cause. Trying a private window (which ignores most cached data and extensions) or clearing site-specific cookies usually fixes it.

  • Quick try: use a Private/Incognito window

    • Chrome / Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or ⌘ + Shift + N (Mac)

    • Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P (Windows) or ⌘ + Shift + P (Mac)

    • Safari (Mac): File → New Private Window

    • iOS Safari: Tabs → Private

    • Then sign in to Trova as usual.

  • Recommended: clear Trova cookies only (keeps other sites signed in)

    • Chrome: Settings → Privacy & security → Site settings → View permissions and data across sites → search “trova” → Clear data.

    • Safari (Mac): Settings/Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data… → search “trova” → Remove.

    • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies and site data → See all cookies and site data → search “trova” → Remove.

    • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Manage Data… → search “trova” → Remove Selected.

    • Reopen your browser and try signing in again.

  • If issues persist

    • Clear cache (in the same Privacy/Security area). Note: clearing all cookies will sign you out of other sites.

    • Temporarily disable extensions (ad-blockers, privacy tools) or retry in a Private window.

    • Ensure cookies are allowed for Trova and your device’s date/time are correct.

    • Try a different browser.
