Test different ways of asking for a review. If asking customers to write a review is not producing a lot of engagement, try asking for a “quick rating”. This will make the customers more at ease and they are more likely to give you a 5-star rating, without feeling obligated to write a full review.
Keep your SMS messages short and to the point!
Ask them to click the link in the SMS. For example: “Please give us a quick rating by clicking the link below”
Send review requests at different times of the day. With easy scheduling options, you can schedule for your review requests to go out at predefined times of the day.

Don’t make your SMS message long and complicated. Customers will disengage with long messages.
