The Gong integration must be set up in the Integrations tab first, and you must have a Gong account.
We have two Gong widgets available to use and they are set-up in two ways.
First, the widget labeled as "Gong" is where you'll connect your Gong account and when you've added the widget, you'll access your full library of Gong recordings that you can choose from.
đĄ If your team has set up the Gong call sync webhook, calls that match the Pod's account or deal appear under Suggested in this widget â so you can add the right call in one click instead of searching your whole library.
The other widget is labeled "Gong Embed", and this will pull in calls or snippets from the API by using the embed link. This is primarily used if you'd rather share a snippet of your recording rather than the recording in full. When using this widget, you must click "Share with customers" and then click "Copy embed link". The widget will not work if you use the "Embed call" option.
To add the "Gong" widget:
Click the "+" icon to launch the Widget Library. Select "Gong" from the list.
Click on this icon to upload the recording from your Gong call library. Your conversations will automatically link to your trumpet account once youâve integrated it.
Select the media from the content library.
Your Gong media is now embedded in your Pod.
To add the "Gong embed" widget:
Search for the "Gong embed" widget
In Gong, search for the call you want to embed then select "Share call"
Select "Share with customers". If you want to make a snippet, then make your adjustments now to the call.
Then click on the down arrow next to the "Copy link" button to select "Copy embed link".
NOTE - The Call must be set to 'Anyone with the link can access' - and People must identify themselves to access set to 'unticked'
âFinally, add your embed URL into the "Gong embed" widget.
Note: If Gong integration isn't set up yet for your account, you will see Gong Embed (paste-a-link). The full Gong widget appears once the integration is connected.
