TaxSlayer - Client File Upload Instructions. Note: You will need to provide the TaxSlayer25 data (or the 2024 version if desired)
Create a client list zip file
CLOSE TaxSlayer25
Using the Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\TaxSlayer\2025Net\ (however, if TaxSlayer is installed on a network drive or a local drive that is not C, the applicable drive letter is shown as the default. Example: If TaxSlayer is on network drive F, the default path is F:\TaxSlayer\2025Net\.)
Right click on the 2025Net directory -> Send to... -> Compressed ZIP
Keep the above Windows Explorer window open, but move to the side.
Open a browser window and log in to Truss -> https://app2.gettruss.io/
Upload the zip file to Truss!
Navigate to the URL above and upload your backup file to Truss. You can drag and drop the zip file or use the Browse feature
