Update Email Address on Project

Learn how to update or change the email address linked to a project in Truss to ensure project notifications go to the right place.

To update a client’s email address in Truss, first select the project from your Projects list. Then follow these steps:

  1. Select the client’s initial on the project page.

  2. Click “Wrong Email? Click here to fix.”


  1. Enter a new or correct email address.

  2. Click “Proceed with the fix.”


  1. Select “Copy Magic Link”

    • This allows you to copy the link and send it to the taxpayer outside of Truss.

  2. Click “Send Access Link.”
