Curious about payment timelines? Delve into our breakdown of Turno's payment process, exploring key aspects such as the frequency of payments, available methods, and payout schedules.

How are payments handled in Turno? 🏦

To ensure secure and efficient payment processing, we've partnered with Stripe, a dedicated payments processor.

Stripe is certified as a PCI Level 1 Service Provider, the highest standard in the payments industry. This certification ensures that users can trust Stripe with their sensitive data, as they consistently meet global financial industry standards.

The initial and crucial step for you to receive payments on Turno involves setting up a Stripe account.

In case you require assistance with that, refer to the following article. ☑️

How does the payment processing work? 🏦

With auto pay on, completing a project or the host manually paying you triggers instant payment processing – as long as you're already set up with Stripe. Nevertheless, it may take some time before you actually receive the payment, as Stripe's processing times differ depending on the payment method your customer is using.

Regardless of the scenario, the payment will be deposited automatically once processing is finished. Where you receive it depends on the payment information you entered when establishing your Stripe account.

Differences in payment processing for Marketplace and Non-Marketplace connections 🪙

For Marketplace cleaners, auto payments are mandatory.

If you use Turno with customers you met outside of the app, payments through us are optional, and don't have to be automatic. Your invited customers have the option to enable auto payments on their end, and you can link a Stripe account to receive payments through Turno if you decide to go with our auto payments.

Here's a guide for customers on how to enable auto payments on their end:

Processing times across different payment methods 🪙

There are two distinct processing times for payments. These times vary depending on the payment method your customer used to make the payment.

  • 💳 Payments by card are usually faster. It takes 2-5 business days to get the money in your account. For your first payment, it might take a bit longer due to initial account verification.

  • 💵 ACH transfers can take a while to process. It usually takes 5 business days to know if it went through, and then another 2 days for the money to show up in your Stripe account. You'll see it marked as "processing" at first, then "succeeded" when it's done.

Business days are Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time, excluding weekends and public holidays. 📑

Where can I track my payouts? 🏦

You can check your payouts on your "Scheduled" tab on the website version of Turno, or "Schedule" tab on the cleaner app (android/iOS), under the Payments sections. A third option is to go directly to your Stripe account to monitor the status of your payments and payouts. See the next sections of this article for instructions on how to access these pages.

While all three options enable you to track your estimates, it's important to note that only Stripe provides real-time updates. ✅

Tracking on the Turno Cleaner App 💰

On the cleaner app, click on the three dots "More" section at the bottom right of the screen, and select Payments.

There, you will find a Schedule tab where you'll be able to follow your estimates.

Tracking on the Turno Website 💰

On the website version of Turno , click the menu icon on the top left of the screen to open the sidebar, and navigate to Payments on the respective menu.

The "Scheduled" tab will be displayed, where you'll able to check the expected arrival date of your payouts.

Tracking on Stripe 💰

You can also log in to your Stripe account here . Check the due dates of your payouts on your Balances tab.

Keep an eye on your Stripe account status. You might need to provide more documents to verify your information and ensure you get your payouts. If you have trouble updating your Stripe account details, we recommend you contact Stripe Support. ⚠️
