How to display the number of guests from a particular booking to your cleaners.

Sharing the number of guests who will be arriving on your next reservation after cleaning can be an important piece of information for the cleaners preparing your property for them.

In this guide, we will show you how to import this information using your calendar or, alternatively, how to add the information manually. 😉

👩🏻‍💻 Using an API integration

If you use Property Management Software, Turno can automatically share information with your cleaners through API integrations.

Currently, we support 29 Property Management Software/Channel Managers: Airbnb, Avantio, Booking Factory, Bookster, Escapia, Eviivo, FantasticStay, Guesty, Guesty for Hosts, Hospitable/Smartbnb, Host Tools, Hostaway, Hostfully, Hosthub, Hostify, iGMS, Jetstream, Jurny, KIGO, LMPM, Lodgify, OwnerRez, RedAwning, Smoobu, Streamline, Tokeet, Track, Uplisting, and Zeevou via API Integration.

To add a rental calendar via API key integration from one of the rental platforms currently supported in Turno, go to your integration settings and follow the instructions for your platform. 💡

Once you connect it and sync each listing to a Turno property, as long as this information is gathered by your property management software, it will be shown in the details section of your projects, just like in the example below:

📆 Using your iCal calendar

When dealing with iCal, it's essential to keep in mind that most calendars usually do not include that information.

But, if there are notes available in your iCal calendars, with the number of guests and other booking information, you can make them appear to your cleaners automatically by enabling the option to display them from your iCal calendar.

You can find that option under the "Calendars" tab on your property settings:

If this information is not included in your property's iCal, our system won't be able to retrieve it. Generally, it is not available.

📑 Add the number of guests manually to the project's notes

If you are using iCal links from your rental platforms or a property management software we don't currently integrate with, it will be necessary to add this information manually.

The alternative here is to manually add the number of guests and other information to the project notes to let your cleaners know. 💡

To add notes to a project, click on your project in your Schedule view, and then hit "Edit Project":

This will take you to the edit project screen, where you can add notes to the project.

1️⃣ "Private notes" are visible only for yourself and your co-hosts.

2️⃣ "Notes to teammate" will be visible to your cleaners.

Make sure to click the "Update" button after you write your notes! ✅
