What are access levels? How does it work? How can I improve it?

In this article, we will explore the access level for cleaners and answer some frequently asked questions related to it 😉

What is the access level? 📊

The access level is a reflection of a cleaner's performance on Turno. It determines your priority to be notified of marketplace offers around you and grants you perks, such as instant bids, based on how high you level is.

By default, once your application is accepted into the Marketplace, your access will start as limited. We encourage you to also bring your existing customers to work with you on Turno and complete projects with them to increase your Customer Retention factor and your Response Time factor to raise your access level faster.

📑 Note: your access level is updated on a monthly basis, rather than in real-time. This means that the improvements you make to your response time and customer retention will only take effect on your access level after your next access level update.

Where can I see my access level? 👀

To find your access level, head over to your Marketplace Profile page:

(You must be logged in to your cleaner account on the website for the button above to work)

Scroll down to see your access level card, below the one with your bio. It will look something like this:

In the upper box, you will see your current level and a description of what it means, as well as a tip on how to improve and reach a higher level.

In the lower box, you can see the factors taken into account we calculate your access level.

Access level factors 📃

Your Access Level is calculated automatically. We take into consideration all 3 of the factors displayed on your Marketplace Profile page. Let's take an in-depth look at each of them below. 🔍

Customers retained 🧼

6 customers retained (14.29% down from last month)

This is the factor with the highest impact among all three. It takes into account the total number of customers you completed projects for in the past 30 days.

In order to improve or maintain your level, make sure to accept projects from your current customers that you have the availability to take on. If it has been a while since you received a project from a customer, contact them by chat and ask them to check if they will be needing your cleaning services in the near future.

Response time 🧽

The response time has a medium impact on your access level, and it's the average time you take to respond to marketplace offers (by sending a bid or rejecting the offer) and project requests from your customers (by accepting or rejecting the project).

To improve or maintain your level, make sure to respond quickly to marketplace offers from new customers and project requests from your current customers. Even if you're not available, make sure to reject the offers; otherwise, your response time might suffer.

Reviews 🧹

Like your response time, the reviews you get affect your access level. If you have a good relationship with your customers but don't have many reviews, ask them to review you on Turno. You can contact them through the Turno messenger!

😢 My access level dropped, what do I do?

If you haven't been very active lately and your access level has dropped, don't worry! It's possible to restore it to what it used to be by following the tips above - working with your current customers, responding to offers and projects as soon as you receive them, and encouraging your customers to write good reviews for you.
