Document expiration is relatively new feature by Twala Sign which allows users to set, extend, or remove expiration dates for specific documents. This new functionality is designed to provide users with greater control and flexibility over their document lifecycle, ensuring that the document will be completed before it expires.
How It Works
Setting Expiration Dates: When preparing or viewing documents, you can specify an expiration date. This is useful for limited-time offers or time-sensitive actions.
Extending Expiration Dates: If a document is nearing its expiration and additional time is needed, you can easily extend the expiration date. This can be done by selecting the document and modifying the new expiration date.
Removing Expiration Dates: For document which no longer need to be time-bound, you have the option to remove the expiration date altogether. This ensures that the document remains valid indefinitely or until another action is taken.
Notifications and Alerts: Users will receive email notifications two days before the document approach its expiration. This feature helps the users stay on top of important deadlines and manage their documents proactively.
