Add a Segment for Tydal Popup Subscribers in Klaviyo

Our app does not currently have a direct integration with Klaviyo yet but there’s definitely a way to make your Tydal Popup subscribers appear in Klaviyo by creating a new segment! In this article, we'll walk through the process of how you can do this. 😎

How to add Tydal Popup Subscribers to Klaviyo

Tydal Popup subscribers will appear in the Profiles section of Klaviyo but they will not be added automatically to any default list or segment. No worries, keep reading to learn how to make them appear in a segment to efficiently use both apps!

✨ Shopify & Klaviyo Integration needs to be enabled for this to work!

Creating a new segment for all subscribers

This option will add all subscribers in one segment. This includes customers who subscribed to your store through the Shopify footer form or at checkout as well as the customers who subscribed through our popup!

1. In Klaviyo on the left sidebar, click Audience then go to Lists & Segments

2. Click the Create List/Segment in the top right and choose Segment

3. Give it a name (in this example, we used "All Subscribers")

4. Under Definition, select conditions Properties about someone

5. Search for Accepts Marketing in the Dimension field and make sure it is set to is true

6. Click the Create Segment button then wait until the action is complete

Filter Tydal Popup Subscribers in a separate segment

In case you want to filter out Tydal Popup subscribers in one segment, you will need to create another segment aside from the All Subscribers' segment above by following the steps below:

1. On the List & Segments page, click the Create List / Segment button then choose Segment

3. Enter a name for the segment (for this one, we named it “Tydal Popup Subscribers”)

4. Set the Definition by selecting conditions Properties about someone

5. Search for Accepts Marketing in the Dimension field and make sure it is set to is true

6. Click the + AND button to add another condition, then select conditions If someone is in or not in a list

7. Set the rule to “Person is not in Newsletter

8. Click the Create Segment button and wait till it's done!

Now that you have the segment, you can create a campaign or flow in Klaviyo to target your popup subscribers!
