Whether it's filmed by Typsy or you, a lesson is a short, bite-sized video about a specific topic. It’s between 3 - 5 minutes long. Yep, that’s all!
‘Hold up!’, we hear you say, ‘How do I cover a whole topic in 3-5 minutes?!’
A lesson should be focused on just one or two key things, and it might be just one small part of what could be a wider topic. Thinking small is key when it comes to choosing your lesson topic!
Here’s an example:
Let’s say you want to teach people about Espresso Coffee. Well, that’s a pretty big and broad topic to cover in 3-5 minutes, probably too big to be a Typsy lesson.
But here are some examples of smaller topics related to Espresso Coffee that would be perfect as Typsy lessons. You could choose to film just one of these, or you could film multiple lessons if you wanted to cover more of the topic:
1. What is espresso coffee?
2. Understanding different types of milk
3. Processing and roasting coffee beans
4. Stretching and texturing milk
5. Parts of an espresso machine
Here’s another example:
Broad topic: Profit and Loss
Examples of smaller topics that would work perfectly as Typsy lessons:
1. An overview of the profit and loss statement
