tZERO Securities may require a photo of your ID to be uploaded with your application in order to verify your identity.
All IDs must meet the following criteria:
The size of your image must be above 800KB
All four corners of your ID must be visible against a contrasting backdrop
Do not hold your ID when taking a photo
File type cannot be HEIC (this happens when you take a live image using an iPhone)
Do not have a glare when taking the photo
Do not include multiple images in the upload
Do not take a screenshot of an existing image
Most smartphones have a camera that is able to take a photo that meets the above requirements. Please try utilizing the below instructions to email yourself a picture of your ID:
