Guidance on possible reasons your order may be rejected

If you are experiencing order rejects, please review the below guidance on potential solutions:

  • You may be submitting a wash sale

    • For more information on wash sales, please Click Here

  • You may be entering an order too far away from the market

    • Your order cannot be 10% higher or lower than the current market price

  • You may not have the security to sell

  • You may not have the sufficient cash to buy

  • Your account application has not been completed

    • You will be prompted at the home page to complete your application by clicking "Continue Setup"

  • Your application has not been approved

    • You cannot place a trade until your application has been completed, submitted, and approved by tZERO Securities, and it can take up to 5 business days for your application to be reviewed
