In Shopify, the Sales Order includes a "Shipping" charge, which is displayed in the order's summary. When imported from Shopify, the Sales Order will include the shipping fee as a Charge Line. If there are multiple shipping fees applied to the order in Shopify, each fee will be added as it's own charge line in Unleashed's Sales Order.

Manage charges with integrated accounting providers

If you have integrated Unleashed with an accounting provider such as Xero or QuickBooks, by default, the Sales Account selected in your Xero or QuickBooks configuration settings will apply to any shipping fees or charges included on Sales Orders imported from Shopify.

Use the Shopify configuration setting "Shipping Charge Account" to apply an alternative default Sales Account for shipping charges imported from Shopify.

To manage your Shopify store's "Shipping Charge Account" setting:

  1. From the main menu in Unleashed, go to the eCommerce Hub and click on the Shopify tile.

  2. Click on the "Configure" button in your Shopify store's tile.

  3. Scroll down to the "Shipping Charge Account" section and use the dropdown menu to select the appropriate Sales Account.

  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Save Configuration".

From then on, shipping charges included on Sales Orders imported from Shopify will automatically populate the Shipping Charge Account selected.
