The eCommerce Hub's Amazon integration streamlines your multi-channel selling strategy by connecting your store directly with Amazon's marketplace. This powerful integration eliminates the need to manually manage inventory, orders, and product listings across separate platforms.

What is Amazon?

Amazon is an e-commerce solution that allows you to set up online stores to sell your goods. It lets you organize your products, customize your storefront, accept credit card payments, and track and respond to orders. When integrated with Unleashed through the eCommerce Hub, this combination becomes a powerful tool for complete business management.

The Amazon integration

To find and set up your Amazon integration:

  1. From the main menu, select eCommerce Hub.

  2. Select the Amazon tile.

πŸ“Œ Note:

  • The eCommerce Hub's Amazon integration must be included as an add-on to your account's subscription.

  • Ensure the Amazon Store is registered with the Amazon Seller's Professional Plan.

Key benefits of the Shopify integration

The Amazon integration offers several advantages for managing your online business:

  • Automated Stock Updates: Stock availability automatically syncs from your account to your Amazon store at configurable time intervals, ensuring customers always see accurate stock levels.

  • Multi-store management: Integrate multiple Amazon stores from various marketplaces.

  • Accurate Margin Calculations: View precise profit margins across all sales channels, based on landed costs calculated directly in your account.

  • Seamless Accounting Integration: Stock movements are automatically sent to your accounting provider for all sales, keeping your cost of goods sold and stock on hand figures current.

  • Centralized Reporting: Use your account's reports to view consolidated sales figures across different sales channels in one location.

Important considerations before integrating

  • Product Data Management: When Product Synchronization is enabled, changes to product details, not including stock on hand, in Amazon are updated in Unleashed, but updates made to products in Unleashed will not sync to Amazon.

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII) will not be imported from Amazon: The customer's name, email address, contact number, and delivery address will not import or sync to the customers or Sales Orders in Unleashed, see, see Amazon Integration PII.

  • Product Synchronization is enabled, product details are updated from Amazon to Unleashed. Updates made to products, not including stock on hand, in Unleashed will not sync to Amazon.

  • Sales Order Management: Choose whether Amazon orders import as individual Sales Orders or should be consolidated into one daily Sales Order.

  • US sales taxes: For Amazon stores in the US marketplace, dynamic taxes can cause issues when importing Orders, as Unleashed requires a specific tax code per sales tax rate. Use the Amazon integration's Taxes configurations to overcome this issue.
