Account Owner
The Account Owner is the primary administrator of your Unleashed account with the highest level of access and responsibility.
Key characteristics and capabilities
One per account: Each Unleashed account can have only one designated Account Owner.
Billing authority: The Account Owner is solely responsible for managing subscription changes, upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations in Settings > Billing.
Invoice access: Only the Account Owner can access and download Unleashed subscription invoices.
API credentials: Only the Account Owner can access the account's unique API credentials via Integration > Integration Store > Unleashed API Access.
Administrative privileges: Only the Account Owner can create or delete Sandbox environments and reset 2-Step Authentication for other users.
Important: Account Owners must also be a Superuser to ensure full system access to the account.
If your Unleashed subscription is managed by an Unleashed Partner, only Partner users will be able to access the Billing page to make adjustments to your subscription.
Identify your Account Owner
To identify the Account Owner of an Unleashed account:
Navigate to Settings > Security > Users.
Look above the Users grid, where the Account Owner will be clearly named.
Change your Account Owner
Prerequisites: The new Account Owner must already be an invited user in your Unleashed account.
To transfer Account Owner privileges to another user:
The current Account Owner must contact Unleashed support to request the change.
Include the new Account Owner's email address in the support request.
Support will process the change and transfer all Account Owner privileges to the designated user.
Superusers
Superusers are additional administrators with extensive access to your Unleashed account, serving as secondary administrators under the Account Owner.
Key characteristics
Multiple allowed: You can assign the Superuser role to multiple users in your account.
Predefined role: Superuser is a fixed, built-in role that cannot be modified.
Majority access: Superusers can access all account pages, excluding Billing and Unleashed API Access if they are not the Account Owner.

Navigate to Settings > Security > Users.
Locate the user account in the list.

If Superuser role changes don't take effect immediately, clear your browser's cache and cookies:
Access your browser settings.
Clear browsing data for an extended period, select "All time".
Log out and log back in to verify changes.
Partner Users
Partner Users are external consultants or service providers who can access your account without using your subscription licenses.
You can find more information about partnering options on Find an approved Unleashed Partner.
Key characteristics
No license usage: Partner Users don't count toward your subscription's user limit, but they must already have their own Partner-based Unleashed account.
Full access: Partner Users have the same permissions as Superusers for account functionality.
Restricted permissions: Partner Users cannot be assigned custom Roles or have their permissions modified.
Registration requirement: Must be a registered Unleashed Partner to be added.
How to invite a Partner User
To add a Partner User to your account:
Ensure the partner has their own registered Partner account with Unleashed.
Navigate to Settings > Security > Users.
Click Invite a User in the top right corner.
Enter the partner's current Unleashed login email address.
Click Invite
The Partner will immediately appear under the "Partners" section at the bottom of the Users page.
If the Partner appears in the regular "Users" section instead of "Partners":
Verify you invited the correct email address.
Contact the partner to verify they have been properly set up as a registered Unleashed Partner.
User Management Best Practices
To view and manage users, your role must have the "Settings > Users" permission enabled.
Regularly review users' access levels with role permissions.
Delete users who no longer require access to your account.
Use Superuser roles sparingly for users who need full administrative access.
Leverage Partner Users for external consultants to avoid using licensed seats.
