Sending Bulk Emails

Learn how to send announcements and updates using bulk messaging tools.

Updated over a week ago

While you can configure automated messages to be sent that are triggered by specific scenarios, such as participants signing up and inviting judges, you might need to send manual updates once your program is live.

Messaging Workflow

The manual messaging feature is accessed through the Participants, Submissions, or Judges tabs.

Step 1: Filter

Use the filter icon next to the search. You can search manually by name or idea, or apply filters for:

  • Participants/Submissions: Filters like Qualified participants, Signed up but didn’t submit, or Multiple submissions.

  • Judges: Filters like Unassigned judges or Starred users.

Step 2: Select

After applying the filter, the refined results will appear.

Use the checkboxes on the left to select all entries that match your filter or choose specific entries.

Step 3: Send Message

  1. Click the Message icon.

  2. Customize your email content.

  3. Personalize the message by using shortcodes (e.g., user-name) to automatically insert each recipient’s name.

  4. Click Send.

This process makes communication targeted, efficient, and personal, ensuring participants and judges receive the right updates at the right time.

What's Next?

Now that you can send targeted communication, your next step is to manage real-time support using the chat feature.
