The ADA Assist platform allows you to create follow up tasks or activities to keep you on track in managing submitted requests.
Creating a Task Prior to Making a Decision on an Employee Request
Step 1: Click "Records" on the left side navigation panel.
Step 2: Search for the employee by name in the search box and/or find the employee name in the list view.
Step 3: Click the eye icon under the "Review" category to review the desired information.
Step 4: Click the eye icon under the "Actions" category.
Please note that some requests may have dropdown arrows with additional requests such as return to work or a request for an extension. Click the dropdown arrow to see additional related requests and documentation.
Step 5: Click the dropdown arrow for "Ongoing Activity".
Step 6: Click "+" next to "Activities" to create a new task.
Step 7: Type the appropriate title for the task and select the desired due date. Then, click "Add Activity".
Creating a Task After Making a Decision on an Employee Request
After making a decision on a request, a pop-up will visualize asking if you'd like to create a follow-up activity.
Click "Yes" to create a follow-up task.
Click "No" if you don't need to create a follow-up task. This will dismiss the pop-up.
After clicking "Yes," type the appropriate title for the task and select the desired due date. Then, click "Add Activity".
Reviewing Created Tasks
The newly created task will now be visible under "Ongoing Activity".
Click "View Activity" to take notes on this task. Then click either "In Progress" or "Complete" to assign a status.
Access all created Tasks from the left side navigation panel.
Step 1: Click the dropdown arrow next to "Tasks"
Step 2: Click "Activities".
After clicking "Activities," a list of all tasks will visualize.
Step 3: Click the eye icon on the far left to review the employee record including ongoing activity and open task items..
Step 4: Click the dropdown arrow for "Ongoing Activity".
Step 5: Review the tasks assigned to this employee record. The task status is found underneath the date (see highlight below).
