Forward all your calls to Upfirst

Here's how to send all of your calls from your current phone number to your Upfirst virtual receptionist.

What you'll need

  • Your Upfirst phone number

  • Access to your physical phone or online phone system

Important note for iPhone users: turn off Live Voicemail

If you use an iPhone, make sure Live Voicemail is turned off.

To turn it off:

  1. Open the Settings app

  2. Tap Phone

  3. Tap Live Voicemail

  4. Toggle it off

Verizon

  • Dial *72[UpfirstNumber] on your phone then press call

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial *73.

For example, if you Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171 you would dial *729545552171 then press call

AT&T

  • Dial **21*[UpfirstNumber]# on your phone then press call

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial #21#.

For example, if you Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171 you would dial **21*9545552171# then press call

  1. Dial **21*[UpfirstNumber]# on your phone then press call

  2. To turn off call forwarding, dial #21#.

For example, if you Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171 you would dial **21*9545552171# then press call

  • Dial *72[UpfirstNumber] on your phone then press call

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial *73.

For example, if you Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171 you would dial *729545552171 then press call

Boost Mobile

  • Dial *72[UpfirstNumber] on your phone, then press call.

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial *73 or *720.

For example, if your Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171, you would dial *729545552171 then press call.

Mint Mobile

  • Dial *21[UpfirstNumber]# on your phone, then press call.

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial ##21#.

For example, if your Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171, you would dial **21*9545552171# then press call.

Cricket Wireless

  • Dial *21[UpfirstNumber]# on your phone, then press call.

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial ##21#.

For example, if your Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171, you would dial **21*9545552171# then press call.

Consumer Cellular

  • Dial *21[UpfirstNumber]# on your phone, then press call.

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial ##21#.

For example, if your Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171, you would dial **21*9545552171# then press call.

Xfinity Mobile

  • Dial *72[UpfirstNumber] on your phone, then press call.

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial *73.

For example, if your Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171, you would dial *729545552171 then press call.

Instructions for popular VOIP and web phone systems

RingCentral

  1. Log in to your RingCentral account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Phone System > Call Handling & Forwarding.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, enter your Upfirst phone number

  5. Save your changes.

Google Voice

  1. Turn off spam blocking in Upfirst (Settings → Call Filtering).

  2. Log in to Google Voice on your computer.

  3. Click the gear icon and add a new linked number.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number and choose “Verify by phone.”

  5. Answer the verification call in Upfirst and enter the code in Google Voice.

  6. Create a forwarding rule to send all calls to your Upfirst number.

  7. In Google Voice settings, turn off “Show my Google Voice number as caller ID.”

Vonage

  1. Log in to your Vonage account

  2. Click on Account in the top menu.

  3. Select My Services.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, click Edit.

  5. Enter your Upfirst phone number

  6. Save your changes.

Dialpad

  1. Log in to your Dialpad account at Dialpad.com.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the bottom-left corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Calls in the left sidebar.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, enter the phone number you want to forward calls to.

  5. Save your changes.

Quo (OpenPhone)

  1. Access OpenPhone (web or desktop app)

  2. Go to Phone Number Settings

  3. Find Forward Calls or Call Flows

  4. Enter your Upfirst number

  5. Set up any scheduling rules if needed (optional)

  6. Save your changes

Nextiva

  1. Log in to your Nextiva account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Phone Numbers under the Admin tab.

  4. Click on the number you want to set up forwarding for.

  5. Under Call Forwarding, enter your Upfirst number.

  6. Save your changes.

8x8

  1. Log in to your 8x8 account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Admin Console.

  3. In the left-hand menu, go to Users and select the user you want to forward calls from.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, enter your Upfirst number.

  5. Save your changes.

Grasshopper

  1. Log in to your Grasshopper account.

  2. Click on Settings in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Call Forwarding under the Business Settings section.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

Zoom Phone

  1. Log in to your Zoom account.

  2. Click on Phone System in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Users & Rooms and choose your user profile.

  4. Under Call Handling, click Edit next to Call Forwarding.

  5. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  6. Save your changes.

Cisco Webex Calling

  1. Log in to your Webex Calling account.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Under Calling, go to Call Forwarding.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

GoTo Connect

  1. Log in to your GoTo Connect account.

  2. Click on Settings in the left-hand menu.

  3. Select Call Handling under Phone Settings.

  4. In the Call Forwarding section, enter your Upfirst number.

  5. Save your changes.

Ooma Office

  1. Log in to your Ooma Office account.

  2. Click on Settings in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Call Forwarding from the menu.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

magicJack for Business

  1. Log in to your magicJack for Business account at magicjack.com.

  2. Click on Settings in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Call Forwarding from the menu.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

Avaya Cloud Office

  1. Log in to your Avaya Cloud Office account at Avaya.com.

  2. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

  3. Go to Phone System > Call Forwarding.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

Microsoft Teams Phone

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and click on your profile picture in the top-right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Go to the Calls section.

  4. Under Call Forwarding, click Edit.

  5. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  6. Save your changes.

Freedom Mobile

  1. Sign into your Freedom Mobile account.

  2. Go to My Account.

  3. Turn ON Call Forwarding.

  4. Enter your Upfirst number in the forwarding field.

  5. Save your changes.

OR

  1. Dial *21* on your phone

  2. Enter your Upfirst number

  3. Hit #

  4. Press call

To turn off call forwarding, dial #21#.

Rogers

  1. Login to your MyRogers account

  2. On the home page, choose the phone you'd like to manage

  3. Click on 'Configure your Current Features'

  4. Select the Forwarding tab

  5. Enter your Upfirst phone number

  6. Choose your desired options

  7. Click 'Save'

OR

  1. Dial *72 on your phone

  2. Then, enter your Upfirst number

  3. Press send

  4. Wait for confirmation beeps

To turn off call forwarding:

  1. Dial #73

  2. Press send

  3. Wait for confirmation beeps

Bell

  1. Dial *72 on your phone (or 1172 for rotary phones)

  2. Listen for three beeps followed by the dial tone

  3. Enter your Upfirst phone number

  4. If there is an answer at your Upfirst number: Make sure to keep the line open for at least 5 seconds to activate the call forwarding

  5. If there is NO answer or you get a busy signal: Wait for 3 seconds, hang up, and then repeat the previous steps one more time to activate call forwarding

If you're using a Home Hub 3000 modem for phone service:

  1. Dial *72

  2. Enter your Upfirst phone number followed by the # key

  3. Listen for the message confirming Call Forwarding was activated

To turn off call forwarding:

  1. Dial #73 (or 1173 for rotary phones)

  2. Listen for the two beeps

  3. Hang up

If you're using a Home Hub 3000 modem for phone service:

  1. Dial #73

  2. Listen for the message confirming Call Forwarding was deactivated

Instructions for landlines

  • Dial *72[UpfirstNumber] on your phone then press call

  • To turn off call forwarding, dial *73.

For example, if you Upfirst number is (954) 555-2171 you would dial *729545552171 then press call
