What Are Concurrent Listings

Concurrent listings are listings posted to different channels at the same time.

Upright Lister allows users to post a listing to eBay, ShopGoodwill, and Shopify Marketplace at the same. Concurrent listings reduce the repetitive and manual process of posting listings to multiple channels while increasing the likelihood of selling an item.

How to Use Concurrent Listings

Get started by selecting Settings (image of gear) and Listing Strategies.

Concurrent Listings can be used on all existing and new Listing Strategies

  • Create a new listing strategy or select the strategy you want to edit

  • Click the blue plus symbol to add a step

  • Select “Concurrent” from the dropdown menu then click Submit

  • Toggle ON each channel you want to list to on your concurrent step

  • Set any channel specific settings and the pricing you want for each channel

  • Set a max step duration to control how long the listing should be live on all channels or leave it blank if you want the listing to remain active until it sells

To prevent the double sale of an item, concurrent listings are only for “Fixed price” or Buy It Now listings. Once an item is purchased on one channel the listings on other channels are immediately ended.

Best Practices & Tips

  • You can create a concurrent listing as part of any step in your listing strategy but most regions use concurrent listings in later stages of the listing strategy. This helps ensure high value items get the best possible price on auctions and lower value items have the best chance of selling!

  • If an order is cancelled you can relist everything by switching the markets back on from the product page

  • We do not advise using concurrent listings for Stock items (with multi-quantity), they are counted as “sold” in Lister as soon as 1 unit sells
