Overview
Tags are used to share short descriptions or calls to action within Lister with the rest of your team. This guide outlines how to create and use tags, with example scenarios for using them in your operation.
Note: Tags are not used on eBay or Shopgoodwill. However, tags can be mapped to Shopify listings by following this guide.

Example Tags
Tags can be used in many different ways to streamline your operation. For example:
Ensure a product is listed by a specific team member
Use as part of the quality assurance process
Track specific items in reports
Below are a few ways to use tags in Lister.
Communicating Information to Remote Listers
If you have a team working both on-site and remotely, use tags to show remote listers that a draft item is ready to be listed or needs supervisor review before the listing can be posted.
In this example, product tags like “Ready for Remote Team” and “QA: Needs Review” can be used to quickly let both the onsite and offsite teams know action is needed on a product.
Tracking Items for Marketing Campaigns
Adding tags to specific products that will be used in an upcoming social media campaign is a great way to track them both directly in Lister and via the downloadable Paid Order Items and Products report.
In this example, including a tag like “Weekend Wedding Campaign” will make tracking the total sales of the items in the Paid Order Items report easier.
Tagging Team-Specific Items
If your operation has dedicated product teams for each type of item (fashion, jewelry, etc.), tags can be an excellent way for teams to filter products only to show these items. This can be especially handy for reviewing listings per team.
