Guide to importing and using Hammoq Conveyor Pictures when listing items

Overview

Hammoq is a third-party remote listing company that provides teams with additional resources to increase daily listing volume. Hammoq’s Conveyor system automates the photography process of clothing items, with up to 400+ clothing items photographed daily.

Once your Hammoq account is connected to Lister, pictures are imported to your listings with a single click while editing a Product or Listing. This guide outlines how to import your Hammoq Photography Conveyor pictures to Lister.

Importing Hammoq Pictures and Product Notes to Draft Products

Importing Hammoq pictures to a draft Product may be useful for teams who use Remote Listing and need to see pictures of the item as they select the appropriate category at the start of the listing process.

After pictures have been taken on the Hammoq Conveyor, import them to the Draft Products page by following the steps below.

  1. Navigate to the Draft Products page

  2. Scan or enter the Lister SKU into the search bar

  3. Click the Product in the search results

  4. Click “Edit” at the bottom right of the page

  5. Click “Import from Hammoq” above the Images section

  6. Click the blue “Save” button at the top of the page

💡Operational Tip: It may take up to 20 seconds to import and process images from Hammoq, a progress bar will show as the pictures are imported.

Any imported Product Notes will show at the bottom of the page:

Importing Hammoq Pictures and Product Notes When Listing

When listing a product, if the product includes a SKU that has been used with Hammoq, Lister will import and save the images to the product automatically.

  1. Start your listing process as usual. Lister will automatically ask Hammoq for the product’s details

  2. Once the pictures are imported, rearrange, edit, or remove pictures as needed

The product can then proceed through the standard listing process.

Depending on the Builder Template settings, Lister will build a description for the product as follows:

  • If the product category is assigned to a Builder Template, the product description captured in the template will be used

  • If no template is assigned, Lister will build a default description based on some of the imported Hammoq attributes. This includes a description of the item above the item details, in the format of: “Brand” “Color” “Style” “Type” “Size” if these values are present

Lister will continue to import all Hammoq attributes into the Notes field of the product.


Troubleshooting

Wrong Picturers Imported

Pictures are imported based on the SKU attached to the item in Hammoq. If the SKU doesn’t match, the wrong images may be imported. Check the following:

  • Confirm the SKU on the item matches exactly the item within the Hammoq Conveyor website

  • If the physical barcode does not match the barcode in Hammoq, the garment may have been hung on the wrong hanger at some point during the photography process


No Pictures Imported: “Hammoq could not find this product” Error

This error typically means either the item has not been photographed in Hammoq or the SKU in Hammoq is incorrect. Check the following:

  • Search for the item in the Hammoq Conveyor website and verify the correct SKU is associated with the item

  • Check for any items missing SKUs in the Hammoq Conveyor website

  • Confirm pictures have been fully processed in the Hammoq Conveyor website


No Pictures Imported: “Something went wrong” Error

This error typically indicates the Hammoq Conveyor website is not reachable. Check the following:

  • Verify you can log in to the Hammoq Conveyor website

  • Check your internet connection

  • Confirm pictures are loading and present in the Hammoq Conveyor website
