A lack of mobility and adequate strength in old age is common but not normal. In many cultures around the world, older generations maintain healthy movement habits well into old age because of lifestyle habits and demands.

In western society, we tend to see a larger number of older people moving slowly and suffering with lots of musculoskeletal maladies. This is because many older people have not figured out how to maintain mobility and strength. Don’t let this be you!

Resistance training improves bone density and muscle mass. That maintains your competence, confidence, and independence for the long run.
