Running is certainly doable. Just keep it out on the horizon and keep it as the long term goal you’re working towards.
We know it can be very difficult to believe that it’s possible to achieve things like running again, but you will never know unless you make a consistent concerted effort towards that goal. Matt has met people with severe spinal cord injuries who were told they would never be able to anything on their own again who gradually learned how to walk and even drive again.
This young man was told he had hip sockets that are too deep and would therefore need to stop all activity and expect hip replacements at age 30. It took him a few years to get this hips more mobile than they had ever been.
The human body is capable of healing and doing amazing things. Take the time to retrain your muscles, and you will reap the rewards!
