We have people getting good results with the program with a very wide variety of hip impingement issues. To start, it's important to recognize that movement problems are muscle problems.
Ischiofemoral impingement usually refers to the entrapment of the quadratus femoris (QF) muscle between the lesser trochanter and the ischial tuberosity. This is not a problem of a bone being too big. It is about movement mechanics.
This video talks about the invention of this 'disease' by surgeons.
Fixing the Ischiofemoral Impingement
We have a variety of exercises for the glutes and adductors that can provide some immediate relief. Tissue work/stretching for the anterior hip (quads/hip flexors) may also help with any pain experienced during hip extension.
Retraining strength of the glutes, adductors, outer hips, and hip flexors will also help. The specific areas you will need to focus on will vary by the individual.
