After you check-in...
During your stay, youβre welcome to get any non-perishable items (such as clothing or books) delivered to urbanest, and we'll look after them for you for a few days until you collect them π
Food deliveries
If you are getting a fresh food delivery from a grocery provider (such as Tesco or Waitrose), or takeaway delivery company (such as Deliveroo), you must be home to receive the delivery at reception. We will not take them on your behalf.
If you are getting a boxed food delivery, such as Frive, Prep Kitchen or Hello Fresh, we can accept these at our reception, but you must collect them the same day. We will dispose of any items that are not collected by midnight on the day of delivery.
For more information on food deliveries, please see this article.
Other deliveries
For deliveries which are not perishable (food deliveries), we are happy to take them on your behalf and will store them for a few days until you collect them. You will receive an e-mail with a QR code when you are able to collect your item(s); this may be some time after they have been delivered if there has been a large delivery to sort through - please be patient with us as this can be hundreds of parcels at the same time.
Returning Parcels via Courier
You can leave return parcels with the reception team, who will hand them over to the courier when they arrive. Before dropping off your return parcel, please email the return details (such as tracking information) to a team member at the front desk.
β
Once your return details are received and recorded, the onsite team will assist you with the handover process when you leave the parcel at reception.
Guidelines for Sending Parcels to urbanest Before Arrival
To ensure smooth delivery and proper handling, address your parcel with the following information:
Use your full legal name (first and surname) as per your tenancy agreement.
Include your room number.
Specify the urbanest property name.
Confirm the correct postcode for your urbanest property.
Please note that urbanest accept no responsibility for any items sent in advance of your arrival, and all liability remains with yourself.
β
To help you settle in we can accept online orders for essential items, such as kitchen or bedding essentials.
Delivery Timeframe
Urbanest accepts parcels only 1β2 days prior to your check-in date. Deliveries outside this timeframe will not be accepted. Each tenant may send up to two packages, provided they meet the essential items criteria.
Collection of Delivered Parcels
Once your parcels are delivered, you will receive instructions on how to collect them. Parcels will typically be stored either in the post room of the property or at the reception desk, depending on the building layout. Always present identification or proof of tenancy while collecting your items.
Post boxes
Your mail (letters) will be delivered by a Royal Mail officer and placed in your flat's letter post box which are located on the ground floor near the reception area of your building.
To access your flat's letter post box, you will need to ask the team at the reception desk for the post key. Once you're finished checking your letterbox, please return the key back to a team member at the reception desk.
