2023-24 Academic Year
As per our check-in process, please let us know in advance when you are expecting to arrive at urbanest by selecting your expected arrival slot on your urbanest Portal.
To do this, simply:
Log in to your portal
Click on the 'My Room' tab
Select Book a Check-In Slot on the left
Choose your expected arrival time
If you need to update this slot, just log back in and select a new time.
Please note that arrival slots are strictly limited, and availability is first-come, first-served.
University Bookings
If you booked via UCL for King's Cross, KCL for Vauxhall or City, or through another partner, you should book your arrival time with your institution and not with urbanest.
What if my flight is delayed?
No worries at all! Our teams are based on-site 24/7, so just head to your new home as planned and we'll be happy to check you in. If it's busy and you miss your slot, you may just need to wait a little while.
What if there's not my preferred time slot remaining?
If there isn't an arrival slot remaining on your tenancy start date that means we have reached our capacity for check-in on that date. If this is the case, you should pick a later date/time.
For your information, arrival slots are only required for September and January only. If you are looking to check-in outside of these months, you just need to update your arrival date via the urbanest portal.
Can I book an early arrival?
Due to the short space of time between our 2022-23 customers departing and our 2023-24 customer arriving, we are unable to offer early arrivals in any circumstance.
